How to create an Apple Developer Account

Please note that if you already have an Apple Developer account with a live App, you will not need to create a new one.

STEP 1: Get a D-U-N-S number

To set up your Apple Developer Account, you will first need to get a D-U-N-S number.

All businesses that want to publish an iOS app must acquire a D-U-N-S Number, enroll in the Apple Developer Program and invite Omni App
Solutions (our parent company) to their App Store Connect account.

Kindly use this form to identify your D-U-N-S Number https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/#!/search

STEP 2: Create your Apple Developer Account

You can follow the link below to create your developer account.
  1. Create an Apple ID. If you already have an Apple ID, you can log in. Your Apple ID will need two-factor authentication turned on. To learn more about two-factor authentication, click here
  2. Agree to the ‘Terms and Conditions’
  3. You will then be asked to choose with which “Entity” you will develop the app. You must create the account as a Corporate/Organization . Selecting another option will lead to delays

You will be prompted to pay the $99 US/$149 AUD fee and will be given an Enrollment ID. This ID can be used if contacting Apple Support. You can also find answers to your developer account queries by going directly to support.apple.com

STEP 3: Add OClass to your Apple Developer Account

  1. Log in to the Apple Developer Console –  https://developer.apple.com/account
  2. Click on ‘People’
  3. Click on ‘Go to App Store Connect’
  1. Click the ‘+’ button
  2. Add [email protected] with ‘Admin’ rights
  1. Click on ‘Invite’
  2. Immediately after sending the invitation, please email your OClass Onboarding Team at [email protected] with the subject-line ‘Invitation Sent’ to let us know these steps have been taken

Sending Omni App Solutions an invitation to your Apple Developer account is the most important step. Without this invitation, our team won’t be able to publish your app on the App Store and your clients won’t be able to download it.
